Big Island

Aptly called The Big Island, Hawaii is not only the largest of the Hawaiian islands, but also the youngest. In fact, the island is still growing and bubbling with volcanic activity and is home to the most active volcano in the world and the unique Volcanoes National Park, where visitors can watch lava flowing into the ocean.

Home to Kona Coffee, miles of white and black sand beaches, great hiking and camping, lava fields and tunnels, stunning waterfalls, snorkeling and diving and the world's largest mountain measured from top to its bottom on the sea floor (Mauna Loa), the Big Island may not land on every tourists radar, but is a dynamic, beautiful and interesting island to visit.
