Kauai

Called the "Garden Isle," Kauai is the Hawaiian islands oldest inhabited islands and arguably the most beautiful. With the thousands of extra years of erosion at work, Kauai is home to awe-inspiring and stunning landscape--including the Waimea Canyon and the famed Na Pali coast.

While Kauai has a lot less land, fewer famous beaches and fewer tourists, the island is less congested and lot more laid back. It's the ideal spot for nature lovers, hikers, and golfers with the famous Princeville resort on the North Shore. Kauai's north shore is also home to the famous Hanalei Bay, where huge winter swells roll and surfers love to hang out, as well as one of the premier diving sites in the world at Tunnels Beach.
