Tampa

Most Americans know Tampa as the home to the Tampa Bay football team, but it's really a large city that stretches far beyond the area near the bay. It's a resort area that often attracts a different kind of crowd than those who head to Miami or Orlando.

The Busch Gardens theme park is one of the major attractions, but this area is mostly known for great weather (although it's very humid in summer) and pleasant resorts that are usually more affordable than those on the Atlantic Coast.
