How to find cheap flights to Birmingham
There are some low cost airlines which serve the city’s airport but the options are quite limited. Search for flights about 4 to 8 weeks in advance to get the best deals.
Alternatively, you can fly into other airports in England , such as: Manchester Airport, London Luton Airport or Bristol Airport. All of them are connected to Birmingham by bus and rail, so you can plan the last part of the journey easily. Not to mention that London Luton is one of the most well known airports used by budget carriers.
In general, try to avoid flying during the peak travel season (July and August) when the fares are higher than normal. Even during the shoulder or low seasons, avoid flying over the weekends. It’s best to plan your flight on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
