The accommodation choices in Honduras are up to par with just about every other Central America country. Choices range from budget hostels for backpackers, to luxury resorts for those wishing to simply relax.

Prices for accommodation’s vary depending on location and what the price includes. Be wary of cheap all inclusive packages or deals that seem to good to be true, because they probably are. You can save yourself a lot of headaches if you read up on customer reviews of the hotel before you make your reservation.

Honduras is still very under developed when it comes to tourism. Resorts are pretty popular in the major tourist destinations, especially the ones on the coast near dive spots. Many resorts on the coast tend to have a pretty nice dive package that you can add on to your stay or offer discounts for local dive shops and tours. It is worth while to shop around and see what each resort offers. A good beach front resort can start at only a mere US$100.
