Officially named Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon is a very popular city among tourists. They all flock to the city center, where most of the city’s landmarks are crammed: Chinese temples, museums, buildings dating from the French colonial era and markets. Phan Tiet is a small fishing village located on the central Vietnam coast, midway between Saigon and Nha Trang. Walking is the perfect way to explore downtown Phan Tiet. The Mui Ne Cape area is just as popular as the town itself. The resorts area is magnificent and you’ll be pleasantly surprised not to see concrete hotels for miles. The best time to visit is between November and May.
Ha Long Bay
Located in Northern Vietnam, Ha Long Bay (Halong Bay) is famous for its rock formations. Bay of Descending Dragons (as its name is literally translated) is located at 165 km /102.5 miles from Hanoi (3 and Â½ hours drive). The best way to get to the bay is by renting a car, although there are bus services offered by travel agencies in Hanoi. The tourists have to purchase a ticket to get to the bay and then opt between two possible routes. The area is packet with hotels, restaurants and Halong Night Market.

Nha Trang is a coastal city on the south central coast of Vietnam. The city is particularly known for the pristine beaches and perfect scuba diving locations. It’s a magnet for backpackers exploring Asia. The city is famous for its seafood cuisine, Tran Phu Street running along the seaside, the annual sailing boat racing from Hong Kong as well as for the beautiful beach resorts.
